Last updated: August 2026. This is the launch-stage privacy policy for BALENZ and should be reviewed before broad commercial release.
BALENZ may process account identifiers, profile information and photos you submit, gym membership and trainer-verification information, community posts, connection and message activity, reports/blocks, optional dating profile information, and approximate location data used to determine whether opted-in members are within a configured discovery radius of up to 100 km.
BALENZ + DATING is optional, opt-in only and restricted to eligible adults (18+). A verified gym membership is not required, and Dating is separate from the BALENZ gym community. BALENZ + DATING is not publicly available before its planned launch on January 1, 2027. The Dating experience does not display a member's gym. Exact coordinates are used for distance calculations and are not shown to other members or exposed in the founder profile-detail interface.
Founder/admin users may review information and media members submit to BALENZ for verification, safety, moderation, support and service analytics. Content may be removed and accounts may be suspended or banned for safety or policy violations.
Members can initiate permanent account deletion inside BALENZ under Profile → Privacy & Safety. This removes the authentication account and app data subject to any limited retention that may be legally required.
BALENZ uses Supabase authentication/database/storage and an external transactional email provider. Access controls are applied through authenticated sessions and database row-level security. No service can guarantee absolute security.
